Meta Cohen Hendel (1883-1970) was a German-born American painter and printmaker. She later became a US citizen and lived in San Francisco. Her work has been shown internationally and is held in prominent collections such as the Oakland Museum of California and the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. One of her notable pieces is titled “Field Flowers”.
