The Strymon Lex is a premium rotary speaker simulator pedal that captures the iconic sound of a vintage Leslie cabinet with remarkable authenticity. Designed for performance and versatility, it offers two selectable speeds that can be toggled via footswitch, allowing seamless transitions during live use. Players can shape their tone with a comprehensive set of controls, including Speed, Mic Distance, Horn Level, Preamp Drive, Volume, and Dry mix.

The Mic switch lets users alter the virtual microphone’s position relative to the cabinet, while the Ramp switch adjusts how quickly the simulated rotors change speeds, adding to the realism. For deeper sound sculpting, the pedal features a secondary control layer, enabling advanced tonal adjustments. An external expression pedal can be connected to manipulate any parameter in real time, and a favorite preset can be recalled instantly using an additional footswitch.
